Cundinamarca Antpitta, Gorgeted wood quail, Yellow winged parakeet and Cerulean warbler are
endangered birds from Guatiquia River Colombia. Their habitats have been destroyed pushing the
last individuals to small fragments of forest. The purpose of this project is to enhance stakeholder
involvement to consolidate a long-term conservation strategy for both species and their habitats.
To achieve this, we will: 1) improve information and awareness for the Guatiquia River
conservation; 2) promote the creation of new community-based protected areas for all species and
